About mediastrixly.org

Training on-screen storytellers for Australian broadcast and live events

mediastrixly.org was founded to close a gap we kept seeing on set: talented producers and editors who understood cameras and vision mixing, but had never been taught how to design graphics that read clearly under studio lights, on a phone screen, or from the back of a conference hall.

Our story

Started in a control room, built for the whole industry

mediastrixly.org began as an internal training programme for a Melbourne sports broadcast team. After years of onboarding new graphics operators one by one, the founders formalised their process into a structured course covering typography, layout hierarchy, lower third construction, and live delivery under pressure.

Today, mediastrixly.org works with broadcasters, conference production houses, churches, and independent livestream teams across Australia, helping their crews design on-screen graphics that communicate clearly the first time, every time.

Legibility first

Every layout decision starts with whether a viewer can read it in three seconds from across the room or on a small screen.

Built for live pressure

We train for the reality of live production — last-minute name changes, rolling schedules, and split-second graphic swaps.

Practical over theoretical

Every module is built around templates, checklists, and workflows you can use on your very next broadcast or livestream.

Our team

Trainers who have worked the desk under deadline

Every instructor at mediastrixly.org has built graphics for a live broadcast, event, or stream — they teach the workflows they actually use.
